Dryline report from Washington

Through my postings on Speypages, I've become friends with some like-minded folks who share the passion for dryline steelheading.  My friend Paul Dudley sent the following report:

"Well this was one hot fish…

Took me 50 yards into my backing on the first run…got some back then it took it all out again…Did this four times…

finally able to get my running line in and turn her…few more runs and in…Have heard these (name deleted) fish were hot
but Damn, that was thompsonesk …..

dryline even though the river had color…green butt skunk…..
